We would love to share the Wedding of Nikki & Thomas, captured by The2Marks.Photography at the stunning setting, Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa Wilmington Kent, on Saturday, 23rd July 2022.

What a fantastic day we had.

The couple chose local to where they live; it’s on their doorstep, as they also live in Wilmington Village.

The Ceremony was held on the grounds of the lovely Rowhill Grange, with its long grand driveway leading up to the Hotel, surrounded by beautiful fields and a stunning landscape.

The2Marks made their way up to The Clockhouse, where Nikki was getting ready with her Bridal Party for the BIG day ahead. Upon arrival, we were greeted by fantastic sunshine, the splendour of the location and, of course, the very excited but chilled Bridal Party, who had already started on the Prosecco, ready for the celebrations ahead.

So there we were. We entered the Clockhouse through the main entrance to be greeted by a bar area (where drinks & canapes will be served later upon the wedding guest’s arrival). Walking further along, through another door, was the setting of the Wedding Reception, a picturesque scene ready to welcome the Bride and Groom once they had said their “I Do’s” the Hotel staff stunningly decorated this, matching the colour scheme and table settings that Nikki & Thomas asked. Whilst there, we took photographs, showcasing the table decoration and the room’s ambience. Then we saw the Wedding Cake, sitting very proud, tiered tall and displayed on its table, draped in a pristine white tablecloth, taking pride and place next to the head table. “that moment in time there is to photograph everything else before you go and join the Bridal Party.”

With not too far to walk and still in the Clockhouse area, we turned on our heels and walked through a door; this time, on our right-hand side, there was an elegant flight of stairs leading to the Bridal Suite, where the Bridal Party were getting ready, so, one of the Marks continued up the stairs. The other Mark made his way to the main Hotel area where the Groom and the Groom’s Party were gathering to have a few drinks and canapes of their own; having two of us photograph their Wedding meant that we could be in two places at once. Times passed by, and a couple of hours later.

The Ceremony began, friends and family seated outside on the lawn on such picturesque grounds, surrounded by beautiful trees, figurines and cascading stairs leading onto a red carpet where Nikki and her father would soon be walking down towards us, accompanied by her Bridesmaids, Flower Girls and Pageboys. Nikki looked stunning in her White Wedding Dress, again, with one of us photographing the Brides arrival and the other one focusing on the wedding guests, The Grooms Party and then capturing The Grooms face when he turned to see his beautiful bride to be for the first time as she approaches.

The Ceremony was now over, and after the planned shots, we all walked through the grounds back down towards The Clockhouse; the guests continuing; this is where The2Marks and The Newlyweds (Mr & Mrs Bonavia) detoured to a secluded garden area where we took various photographs for them before they returned to the guests, the Wedding Breakfast, The Speeches and the Celebrations.

After the meal and speeches, The2Marks continued photographing the wedding celebrations in our unobtrusive style, and we loved blending into the background and documenting the day as it continued.

We love capturing those natural and spontaneous moments mixed in with small planned shots and group photos. Still, most of all, we loved shooting this Wedding, the quirkiness, and the fun, combined with our relaxed way of working and attention to detail, this all made it a pleasure to be part of this great day and to share it with so many lovely people.
